    Really enjoyed the food and the service was fantastic, even when we showed  up when the were only an hour before closing. Chicken Fajitas were delicious.

    This post poses an interesting question.  We spotted this place when we were in Carson and didn't see many choices for food and it seemed to get good reviews.  Upon walking in it looked like a family ran business and we got seated immediately.

    So here is my question.  Is average food OK, if the price is extremely cheap?  I have been to places with crappy food and left so pissed off because of the price I paid (See review for Whole Enchilada), but this was not the case.  The food was average at best, the salsa was terrible and the beans were plain but the price was some of the cheapest I have seen in a long time.  The food was not bad, or terrible dont get me wrong but it just wasn't anything to write home about.

    So if you want some quick somewhat decent grub at a great price try this place.

    Not good. Carne asada is flavor-less, cut wrong and an up-charge of a couple dollars. The beans were burnt, the salsas were weak and the sauces were canned. There really wasn't anything worth while. I desperately want to find a decent Mexican restaurant here but unfortunately this is not it. I feel bad giving a bad review because the place was already empty, but we ate here because the reviews were good.

    Food is absolutely terrible and the service as well. A taco without any toppings was $3.50 each! The carne asada didn't have flavor nor the rest of the food. To make things worse, my daughter's full meal was thrown out without even asking if we wanted it to go and when we asked about it, the waitress didn't apologize or anything. Definitely not a place we will be going again or recommending.

    We like to meet here for a quick dinner with my dad.   Quiet place. Good food. Good margueritas too. We enjoy the owner and her high school kids who always seem to be studying, reading or helping out with service.   A quiet mom and pop place and the food will not disappoint.
